Ms. Carla L. Daniels is the Chief Executive Officer of AECC Career School (2017), a non-profit organization and the President of the AECC Career School (2021). The Arkansas Employment Career Center (AECC) is dedicated to building the careers of clients because “Everyone Deserves a Chance”. The AECC and the AECC Career School are committed to upgrading the skills, knowledge, and abilities of clients who desire to obtain a GED, a college degree, vocational training, and/or entrepreneurial or employment assistance.

President Daniels previously served as the Fiscal Division Manager, Director of State Resources for the Arkansas State Military Department. There, she was responsible for maintaining a professional staff of 600 appropriated positions, managing the allocation of appropriated funds for the fiscal activities of state and federal budgets by managing a multimillion dollar budget supporting the efforts and missions of the Arkansas Air and Army National Guard.

Her career began as a Probation Officer for the City of Little Rock. She later served as Human Resources Manager, Arkansas Department of Corrections; Personnel Public Policy Manager and Human Resources/Construction Administrator, Arkansas Department of Human Services.

President Daniels is a Certified Mediator with the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolutions Commission where she mediates cases in the Arkansas Court System in Domestic Relations, Civil and Probate matters. She served on the State Employee Grievance Appeal Panel (SEGAP) and State Employee Grievance Review Committee (SEGRC) panel member.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Political Science and a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

She is the mother of three sons and the grandmother of two grandchildren.
